Croc Corners to the Conservation Station

This month the CRC had it’s regular post featured in the Placencia Breeze and a highlight article of the CRC in Smithsonian’s Conservation Station publication!  In this week’s Placencia Croc Corner update we discuss the importance of protecting Belize’s top predator.  From jaguars, to crocs, to sharks, to eagles top predators keep our ecosystems going strong.  To read the full article, and check out another tidbit about croc hatchling season, check out this month’s Placencia Breeze (page 7 and 29)!

Our article in Conservation Station detailed the mission of the CRC and highlighted our ongoing work monitoring Morelet’s crocodiles nationwide in Belize.
